About Dr. Esther Longe

I was born into a single parent home and first properly met my dad at the age of 13. Subsequently, I went through life with a lot to prove and a bit of a chip on my shoulder. I had a life changing event at the age of 21 where I survived a plane crash that killed 96 of the 105 people on board. I struggled with survivor’s guilt for 2 years until I was delivered from depression in November, 2008.

I never felt quite worthy so I amassed degrees and accolades to fill a void that only God could. I am very proud of my academic and work accomplishments but I am also very aware that there is so much MORE. I have earned 4 degrees; a BSc, two Masters Degrees and a PhD. I am also a very accomplished marketing expert having worked with some of the biggest brands in Nigeria and the UK.

In 2014, I encountered God intimately. This encounter helped me to forgive God, my parents and whoever else I needed to forgive at that point in the journey of my life. I surrendered fully to God’s pathway for my life. This surrender opened me up to an appetite for risk with God that I had never experienced before.

Since then, I have gone on to do phenomenal things in partnership with God but I know that I haven’t even scratched the surface. We have blessed thousands of people through our free conferences and worship gatherings, we have stirred up the nation through conferences on hope and integrity, we have liberated hundreds of people through physical and online courses and I run a successful coaching programme for high achieving women who know that there is MORE and are unwilling to settle for less than God’s best for their lives. As a public speaker I have spoken at Fortune 500 companies, Christian conferences, have had my testimony video resonate with the hearts of millions and I have also had the privilege to give a TED talk.

Yet, in the midst of all of this, I live life with a key sense that there is so much more. I live life with the awareness that I haven’t even scratched the surface. God is truly phenomenal and He daily shows me pictures of what is possible when we partner together to shine my light.

Thus one of my favorite things to do is to help people uncover their ‘MORE’, to get them unapologetic about shining their light. We are called to make people see the Light of God through us. We are called to be walking advertisements of God’s glory. I love, absolutely love to sit with women and help them demolish faulty mindsets and lay hold of the more that God has in store for them. Since I started the Unicorn Programme I have seen amazing women become authors, start NGOs, businesses, ministries and so much more.
